This was good but there’s so many more options that I prefer I don’t think I’d purchase this. I received it from a Sprouts promo. I had assumed it was TVP with spices already added but it actually is a soy-free shelf-stable pea protein product. This is really great for those who have soy and gluten allergies. It’s always nice to have some shelf-stable proteins on hand and this was SUPER easy to prepare as it had the seasonings inside and simple instructions. I’m a soy lover and really prefer TVP to this as far as flavor and texture. That being said, it was good. I ended up adding more seasoning and some tomato paste. The only item I’d suggest for improvement is keeping the seasoning packet separate. (Perhaps using paper would help so it’s not so wasteful). I wanted to make only half of the bag but I couldn’t because the protein and the spices are all mixed up and I couldn’t ensure they would be split correctly.

I just tried this a couple days ago. I was so relieved to see that it’s an all inclusive vegan product. I also liked that it’s shelf stable, has protein, easy to make, and delicious🥰
