Black Pepper Steak au Choo Zai Zhai Vegetarian 自在齋素食 — Avis de Wong Pei Si 王沛思 (3 mai 2022)

I have a soft spot for western dishes and I was keen to try this one. Only $6! Not a lot of ingredients inside - vegan steak, fries, cucumber and tomatoes. But it was filling enough. The mock steak was flavourful, didn't resemble steak but obviously mock meat, I enjoyed it nevertheless. The black pepper sauce is slightly spicy. I added my own tomato ketchup to make the fries less dry. Overall an OK meal, very affordable western dish for $6, albeit fewer more basic ingredients. I really like this stall.
