Review of Pasta puttanesca at Monnalisa Italian Restaurant by dafnelately
I like to believe the folklore that this dish did indeed originate from a bordello and that it somehow enhances.. late night performative operations đ But do you know however what did not need to be enhanced? This puttanesca! Of course as itâs a dish without cheese the restaurant didnât have to even adapt the recipe to have it added to their vegan menu! That is of course because itâs the less common, I think, Neapolitan version with olives and capers instead of anchovies. My #significantomnivore and I swapped dishes halfway through both #forthedollar and because the food is so genuinely good you want to try everything đ€€ #bestpicks #veganisnotscary #throwback #throwbackthursday

totoro I like your idea for the name origin đđ 1 likeReply
dafnelately I heard it from Italian friends and even on Wikipedia, I cannot take the credit for that bit of creativity đ1 likeReply
totoro I didn't know about this theory đ but I guess it makes sense đ I don't know what the others possibilities are, but this one really makes sense đ1 likeReply
