Thought these were yum! Nice texture and relatively mild flavour - not very fishy tasting, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
I didn’t read the box first, they’re meant to be defrosted in the fridge from frozen before cooking, but I didn’t have time for that. I put them straight in the air fryer from the freezer. They came out in a big clump but began to separate as they cooked (although losing a little bit of the batter in the process).
Enjoyed these with a sprinkle of lemon pepper on top and a side of coleslaw and avocado. SO much nicer than real prawns with the yucky poo chute 🤢
I bought these on sale at The Green Edge for $2, an absolute steal. Wouldn’t normally purchase at full price.
