OMG THIS WAS VANTASTIC! ONE OF THE BEST NASI LEMAK I'VE EVER HAD! Comparable only to Warung Ijo. I'm surprised no one has reviewed this yet. I found out about this new stall from @sgplantbasedfoodie on Instagram. The rice is so fragrant and lemak more than almost all the rice I've tried! I feel conflicted whether to taste the rice by itself or eat with the flavourful sambal which is vegan! I guess I'd prefer a bit less chilli in future. It is pretty worth $9.80 as it is so abundant and filling. The tempeh chips are delicious. The long beans are cooked with yummy tempeh and tofu! There are tofu pieces and eggplant. I feel that it is #cookedwithlove and so happy that this stall makes a vegan option. Feel that the stall owners are passionate about their food. Will come back again. I came around 7.30, and got the second last set with all their non veg options sold out. They gave me a bit more cos they were clearing their stock for the day. And wow, after I had my meal I realised there was a fire going on at another stall further away. Didn't realise the bell ringing was a fire alarm. It was pretty smoky and no one was hurt from what I saw. Everyone was more curious than scared and taking videos.
