When I first turned vegan, I found that most of the coffee beans in Singapore traditional coffee (Kopi-O) are roasted with butter or margarine, including the brand which I was drinking from.
I went cold turkey on coffee for 1 week after I finished the coffee which I bought previously, and finally, I found this Kopi-O from Happy Family brand, house brand from Sheng Shiong.
As an avid coffee drinker, this save the day! This was roasted in cane sugar instead of the normal butter or margarine. It taste good too and quite thick (Singaporean call it "gao") in a 150ml coffee cup.
It is highly affordable, at only 1.85 SGD during promotion and I think about 2.20 SGD without promo, for 20 Kopi-O packets.

I didn’t know kopi-o are roasted with butter and margarine. Does it mean when I order kopi-o from coffee shops are not vegan?😫
