I had to look up #romesco because I really wasn’t sure what’s in it but found out that this sauce style originated in Catalonia in Spain! It’s loaded with finely diced bell peppers and other veggies that add depth to the tomato sauce and a bit of sweetness. Loved it!

The cavatelli was perfectly prepared, had lots of bite and paired perfectly with the sauce. Just be sure to ask for this #veganized without the parmesan cheese! 💪🏽

walkabout-veg Looks so delicious! Didn't know romesco could also be used with pasta. Usually the sauce is served with calçots (similar to spring onion) and I have been told is requires advanced cooking skills to make. Will certainly try!1 likeReply
