Originally I wrote a review thinking Coolhaus’ entire line was vegan-friendly. I was wrong!! Just goes to show even a “seasoned” vegan can screw up. 😞
I bought the cookies & cream and mentioned how it is the “BEST ice cream sandwich... Creamy, tasty dessert that provided me 5 indulgent events (they’re big! So I cut it up like a frozen pie 😉)” but also recommended their other flavors... I was WRONG! Their birthday cake flavor has egg and dairy in it- ugh! I don’t know why I even assumed it was a plant-based line.
So I took some stars off for this, of course, as I do not agree with using someone’s body for product and profit.
Come on, Coolhaus- if you can make a delicious cookies & cream flavor without hurting animals, you can do the same with all flavors!
