Review of Mirza Ghassemi at Shabestan by ravi-gopalan

We ordered the #mirzaghassemi at #shabestan
Its a delicious eggplant dip with a lot of #spices blended in.
It also comes with a tandoor baked roti in the second pic

Now for some trivia:
Apparently, the dish is also known as mirza qassemi after a particularly food-crazy Governor of Gilan province of Persia called Mohammed Qasem Khan who is credited with inventing this dish. Any members with more info about this may validate or add more color to either the dish or the origin story, in the comments section.
