Review of Thai peanut sutra at Life Alive Organic Cafe by aestheticallyadventurous

Very warm and homey dish. The dish as a whole is pretty sweet, with little salt or spice, but a hint of sour from the pickled vegetables. It has a very nice crunch from that carrots that retain their natural crisp yet as still soft enough to be easily chewed with the rest of the ingredients. I couldn’t tell exactly what was in the sauce but it was delicious. As opposed to the carrots and pickled cabbage, the mushrooms were soft and a nice balance to the crunchiness. As a whole the dish is both a soothing bowl and an energizing salad. The pineapples add additional sweetness and freshness. The dish is made with short grain rice.
