Review of King oyster ‘scallops’ at HRVST Cafe & Bar by lou
This is apparently supposed to mimic scallops and the presentation sure was convincing! Although ultimately it still tasted like mushrooms to everyone. Unexpected star of the dish was the roasted baby carrot which I felt outshone the "scallops". The garlic snow was so interesting too! I thought the green part was part of the plate's design but it turned out to be the spinach and spirulina puree, which I didn't really like because it was quite slimy??
