We went to True Bistro as a “date night” experience which can be hard to find when you’re plant based. It was an amazing experience and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Super yummy cashew cheese spread!! In all my time at Tufts pre-going vegan, I always walked past True Bistro and thought “only vegan food?? I’d never try that place”. So now being back, it of course was at the top of my food to-do list ☺️ so happy to finally have tried it, and I definitely recommend if you’re ever in the Greater Boston Area!!

O man how I’ve missed spanakopita… Grew up being fed delicious spanakopita from my Greek side of the family, and I won’t lie when I say I missed these flaky pastries after going vegan. Was super happy to see it on True Bistro’s menu — and it didn’t disappoint!

Great taste and very filling! Really nice presentation, as with all of True Bistro’s dishes. The food is pricey but it’s a really nice spot for special occasions!

Tender pasta, amazingly flavorful filling, creamy sauce. I couldn't ask for anything more. I really like the sauce and the crunchy aspect the bread crumbs add. (Fava Bean Ravioli)

I enjoyed this dish. The sauce was really yummy and went well with the main dish. Nice flavor and fresh taste. The cashew cheese is always a crowd pleaser. #MITVegan

While I enjoyed the ravioli and sauce, sweet potato is not my favorite, but for a sweet potato lover, this dish would be just perfect! The noodles were nice and chewy yet soft. #MITVegan

Great dessert! The apple tart is so pretty. It’s sweet and a nice combination of crisp and soft. It goes great with the vanilla ice cream. #MITVegan

Cheesecake is not my personal favorite dessert, but this cheesecake is beautifully displayed, and very rich and creamy. #MITVegan

This is my favorite dessert at this restaurant! It looks super cool and tastes just as great. The “nest” part is crispy structure of tiny woven strands. You can cut/break it apart and eat it with the sweet whipped cream and pineapple. You can eat the flower petals too! #MITVegan

This was a truly chocolate-y dessert! The texture of the cookie was soft yet crunchy and it tasted nice and sweet. The whip cream was sweet and added nice moisture to the cookie. The brownie was very very rich. Walnuts aren’t my favorite, but I still enjoyed the cookie, and the whip cream was great consistency. I enjoyed a small portion of the brownie before it became too rich for me, so bring some friends to share it with you! This is definitely for a true chocolate lover. This restaurant in general has great presentation and high quality (but expensive) food. #MITVegan
