I got the cookies & cream cake for dessert and it was great! The dough itself was nothing special but the icing and the filling definitely made up for it. They were very sweet, exactly how I like it! Overall, the food at Troy's was amazing and affordable. Troy's Italian Kitchen is not a nice spot to dine in, but the food is absolutely amazing and the staff is really friendly. There is a touchscreen where you can place your order which is pretty easy. I got the vegan buffalo chick'n pizza and it was delicious. The dough was perfect - not too thin, not too thick. The cheese was really creamy, the chicken and the buffalo sauce were super tasty, and it all came together perfectly! I really appreciate that this restaurant took the time to make vegan dessert options because a lot of nonvegan restaurants that have a vegan menu have zero vegan desserts. I was so excited when I heard they added a vegan tiramisu because I’ve never seen any restaurant have a vegan tiramisu. I think this tiramisu is good overall when you aren’t comparing it to a typical tiramisu. It doesn’t taste like any of the tiramisus I’ve had before going vegan. Usually they have multiple layers of crème and ladyfingers. This one has chocolate chips at the bottom and is mostly just cake with whipped cream at the top. It kinda tastes like a chocolate chip muffin with whipped cream on top but it still has the coffee flavor that tiramisu has. It’s delicious in its own way but a little disappointing when you’re expecting a typical tiramisu
