I was absolutely delighted to be able to try the new chocolate and strawberry flavoured soft serve from IKEA. I love both flavours. The dark chocolate had rich cocoa flavour. The strawberry had a sugared strawberry aroma balanced out with some tanginess. The sugar level of both flavours was just right for me. I liked the texture of the soft serve--not too aerated, no gritty ice crystals.
I am really happy that IKEA decided to make their soft serve ice creams vegan. I think that most people who want an ice cream on impulse don't particularly care what the ingredients are. So it's fantastic that this soft serve is made with sustainable, plant-based ingredients and has an affordable price tag
