WOW! This was incredible. Such a flavourful red curry, and packed full of delicious noodles, veggies, tofu and beancurd. The portion size was huge, too, so I stayed for ages trying to finish it! Definitely recommend Sundays if you're in Phnom Penh! #vegantravel #veganphnompenh #vegancambodia

SO delicious, and honestly unlike any spring rolls I've ever tasted before, but I don't think I can properly explain what made them different. Crispy rice paper spring roll, stuffed full of veggies and served with a super tasty khmer koh kong sauce. 😋 Massive serving, as well, could easily be a shared starter. This place was amazing! I'm honestly a bit gutted that I only managed to come here for dinner one night, because it had such a great vibe. The special for their 2 year anniversary was hot dogs! And they were bomb hot dogs too. You could get a single dog or double dog, I went with single while Yonas went with double. Inside the soft fluffy bun was a ton of delicious caramelized onions, with a very impressive and meaty hot dog on top, crispy onions, and tomato and mustard. All the perfect toppings for a hot dog in my opinion!

Trying to hit some of my favourite spots before leaving the country for good:( Sundays was high on the list. Amazingly they were having their 2 year anniversary and so I got to try some special menu items! This banana muffin was decent but really nothing special. Maybe a tad dry.

This dessert got a huge stamp of approval from Yonas, who hates everything coconut flavoured and still loved the coconut icecream! That’s how good it was! The coconut was definitely subtle, and the mango was so fresh, topped with roasted rice powder and palm syrup. It was delicate, sweet, and tropical. #mangolover 3.50 USD.

There were 2 dessert options for the Khmer New Year menu! We goth both! First was an herbal jelly shaved ice. A very traditional Southeast Asian dessert that looks a little different in each country. This one had herbal jelly, mung beans, basil seeds, coconut meat, jackfruit, coconut cream and pandan palm syrup. It was not overly sweet, and definitely had some herbal and earthy notes. The ice gave it that fun texture and as it melted it slowly became the yummiest sweet soup. #asiandesserts 3.5 USD.

This traditional Khmer sour soup is bursting with flavour, with lots of bamboo shoots and tofu. I’m normally not a huge fan of sour soup, but this one was just so good. The curry flavour gave it so much depth. We got a side of rice to soak up all that soup. Yum! This was 4.5 USD. #souplover

This is one of my favourite things to come from Southeast Asia. Every bite is full of so much texture, and it’s so fresh, bright and citrusy. Like summer on a plate. The flavours of the herbs, peanuts, chili, lime, and banana blossom were so harmonious. 4 USD!

Sunday’s is doing a Khmer New Year special menu! I was so excited to try it! And it truly did not disappoint. To start we got these tofu amok spring rolls, which were amazing. The wrapper was so crispy and slightly chewy, and the filling was packed with flavour. Rich and intense curry with pieces of tofu that oozed out as you bit into it. Yummm. Good prices as well, this was 3.5 USD.

Sunday’s announced that it had begun making pain au chocolate, and I was quick to snatch one up! It truly feels like a privilege to have access to such good vegan pastries here in Phnom Penh. This was flaky, buttery, and soft in the middle, with so many nice layers and an amazing amount of chocolate inside that oozed out as you ate it (as they heated it up without us even asking). So delightful. Definitely a little pricey for a pastry as it was 2.35, but so worth it as I don’t get access to vegan pastries often.

This dessert was genius, who wouldn’t love the combo of a panna cotta and fresh brown sugar boba?? Ugh it was divine, the panna cotta being silky and smooth and slightly sweet, but the boba bringing that amazing chewy texture and the hot gooey brown sugar sauce. Delicious end to a delicious Chinese New Year meal. Once again confirming that this is my favourite restaurant in the city. #sweettooth #lunarnewyeareats
