Now THIS is how you do pineapple #friedrice ‼️ ..and #pineapple isn’t even in the name 😉 Portions here are pretty huge so the price tag of RM18 (IIRC) is alright. I think they definitely justified it with the juicy #satay they had on the side 😋 I’m not sure if we had to #droptheegg here too but considering the catastrophe of them including it with our #nasilemak, I suppose this is #eggfree by default 😮‍💨 This is very #turmeric forward, giving the whole dish a nice warmth. I’d really like to visit this place again as they look really nice 😇 Shame this was just a #takeout for the train on our ride to Penang!

Why lah they give egg?? 😩 Dahlah I already ask they orang no give egg they still give egg. Pecahlah hatiku bagaikan telur sudah menjadi telur dadar 🍳 Hah peribahasa I pun cincang cingcok just like their #sambal 💀 Manis giler lah, langsong x pedas 🥱 At least lah the rice lemak-lemak sikit so still can consider #nasilemak. Cuma harganya RM20 giler lah nyor teruk betul juga ekonomi sekarang 😐 Their #satay was pretty good, made from #hericiummushroom & was cooked in #rendang kalau x silap I. I don’t remember what the sides were but there was #tempeh 🤷‍♀️ I think overall I prefer what @m1tch9i ordered, so get that next time. If you get this though, you need to hantam them betul2 to #droptheegg. Berapa kali we tell them no egg they still give egg apahal lah diorang rezeki simpan harga telur pun x mok I pun terconfuse 🤨 #dobetter #eggismurder

I was initially perplexed that this was under their #salad section but upon further reflection, realised it technically made sense 😂 This is one of the few contexts I can actually enjoy #tomatoes 😛 I don’t have #salsa often but I’m glad that so far its been reliably delicious 😋 It’s mostly the #fresh experience of citrusy sourness with some sweet and spicy twists. Every bite is just #refreshing buoyant cubes of vegetable. The #tortillachips? I suspected them to be chachos. Though, it was too plain for that to be the case. They could’ve been toastier but the salsa’s doing the heavy-lifting here so I’ll let it slide 😗 All in all, this restaurant is quite pricey but they sure deliver in quality and just barely on portion. This time it was RM15 for this experience that leaves you wanting more 🤤

I could’ve sworn we specified them to #droptheegg 🤔 Yet, there we were on our train ride with this waste of a chicken embryo 😤 I’m not the biggest #nasilemak enthusiast like @dafnelately but that never stopped me from #abillionhacks -ing every chance we had 😂 Not unlike the satay I tried from their fried rice, they cooked the #hericiummushroom realll nice and tender 😋 I love that it’s just drowning in its saucy #aromatic coat of #rendang 😝 I still don’t really know what the mushy side was but it was nicely tossed in #aromatics too. It may have been a sweet contract to the savoury main 😗 I didn’t dare with the #sambal but I think I recall @dafnelately not being overly impressed. It was still pretty good though! Always nice to have the #friedrice already #eggfree 😁 @dafnelately and I had this taken away for our train ride to Penang 😎 #throwbackthursday (to be fair I go chronologically in my reviews so it’s throwback everyday as long as my backlog exists 😅) It’s rather #pineapple forward 😙 in a way that really makes the #tumeric come alive 😋 it just makes sense in this minefield of the #aromatic😆 The #rice is such a nice bitey fluff. The #satay was a great #savoury contribution while adding even more aromatics to boost. I was most impressed and surprised by how incredibly moist and tender it was 🤤 I only wished this #asian wonder had more #cashews as it was a titular ingredient 😛 RM18 IS a hefty penny for fried rice BUT the portion is A LOT 🤩 This ain’t the only great entry from this place 😏 Just you wait…

Reasonable #nasiulam where the sweet #cucumber and #pineapple #salad really stands out 😋 The #frenchbean and the #keropok are also good, and the #rice is lightly spiced and beautifully textured. The #rendang #curry is piquant and tasty, with the #potato in particular complementing it perfectly. Which brings me to the one disappointment - the #hericiummushroom was not fried or roasted, but boiled 😒 This meant that it was mushy and soft rather than firm and chewy, not at all a good match for the rendang. You'd think that you'd want to get this right if you're going to use it to headline the dish, no? 🙄 #malaysianeats

Seed is a wonderful place to get some wholesome food while chilling out in a nice atmosphere for a couple of hours. See the second, third, and fourth pictures for a sense of the farmhouse vibe and style which they have ☺️ They do actually have a farm where some of the vegetables are grown, and you barely get a sense of the main trunk road that lies beyond the row of hedges 🙂 These #springrolls were pretty good. #Ricepaper wrapped thick #vermicelli, various leaves, and #tempeh. While they recreated the usual #fishsauce in some vegan (and suitably umami) way, plus provided an extra dish of satay #peanutsauce 😋 All this for just RM10 for a large sharing portion. Not much to complain about, unwelcome coriander aside 😏
