Not sure if this is the right location tag.. I’ve put it in the 2nd image. They have hot and cold (yes cold!!) mala here and this is the cold veggie plate. They don’t fry it and instead toss it and it’s great, love the bean sticks and baiye tofu and smoked tofu 🤤 🤤 $7 enough for 2 people to eat!

Be sure to ask them to make these vegan and they’ll hook you up. Not my favorite #dandan noodles but still hit the spot. Overall I’d ask them to make them even spicier next time 🌶🌶🌶

@mrsgarg is on a quest to find the best #sichuan jelly noodles in Singapore 🇸🇬 and these might be it! I was so surprised by all the fresh toppings that the folks at Old Chengdu put on all the vegetarian dishes. It makes for a really beautiful dish that’s also absolutely delicious. For those of us that haven’t tried cold bean jelly noodles, they come in all shapes and sizes and usually they’re really messy to eat because the noodles are pretty “fragile” and fall apart. Overall these noodles were slightly stronger than the ones they use at Si Wei Mao Cai on Mosque Street, so I’d definitely recommend these more! Check out Old Chengdu if you haven’t been. I’ve been really blown away by the vegan options! Just be sure to tell them to make everything vegetarian!

Of all the #sichuan eggplant dishes out there this is my new favorite! It’s cold, less oily than most options and covered in the most delicious cut green chili sauce! This was the first time I went to a Sichuan restaurant and didn’t order mapo tofu or rice and I had no regrets!

Ok seriously this might be my new favorite dish I’m craving in Singapore and I just had it last night. I cannot get this out of my mind! I pretty much love anything lotus root especially when it’s crispy and spicy, drenched in Sichuan heat. This dish brings together sliced potatoes, lotus root, Sichuan style chewy tofu strips and a whole lot of peppers and black pepper. I’m in love ❤️❤️❤️
