These #beetroot diamonds were one of the 2 vegan starter options on offer. This hit the spot with 3 distinct flavors.. some of the beetroots were sweet, some were kinda pickled that gave it a different flavor and the #horseradish imparted its own unique taste, the combination of which was just great. I will definitely go for it again.

I recently visited the North Miznon restaurant on Amoy Street and tried their #pasta dish, but I was disappointed with the taste. Oh and inspite of a reservation for 12 PM, we were asked to wait outside as they had some situation with the 'sound?'. Once in, we were disappointed to find that there were only 2 options for vegans. I went with the pasta with #tomatoes. The pasta itself was cooked well, but the sauce was lacking in flavor and overall, the dish was not as tasty as I had expected. Additionally, the herbs and spices that were used to season the dish were not very noticeable. The overall cost of the meal including starter was $29++, which I thought was expensive for the quality and quantity of the food. @omnionajourney @davnil @mparramon @pindiola

Hummus. It’s the food of gods, and for me it’s something so simple and yet so perfect. It can be a side dish, an appetizer or even the main event at a meal. It’s just that perfectly versatile. And who better to make hummus than the people of Israel 🇮🇱 at North Miznon in Singapore. This stuff is absolutely delicious, just be sure to ask for it #veganized because otherwise it’s served with sea life. #northmiznon #miznon

I’ve been back to North Miznon a few times since it opened and every time there are more and more vegan options or things that can be veganized. I’m super impressed by the creativity of the staff. For example, I’ve never had an eggplant dish that’s anything like this! Eggplant that’s been prepared, super tender and drenched with flavors from the olive oil, herbs and tahini smothered all over! Then it’s spread out thin in “lines” over parchment paper. Perfect to spread over their focaccia or just eat on its own. Amazing! #northmiznon #miznon #eggplant

I’m a huge fan of #miznon and was so excited that they launched a new restaurant a few blocks away. Went here for date night with my wife and it was definitely the most happening restaurant we’ve both seen for a while. Great vibe! But the food was really subpar. Half of the things we wanted to order weren’t available, and basically it came down to us eating a very red sauce Italian meal in an Israeli restaurant 😅 and half the things I ordered veganized still came out with cheese smothered on top. Finally I will say there was a lot of meat and seafood here. Like Octopus 🐙 and squid 🦑 tentacles at every table and I just felt like I was in a medieval butcher shop. Won’t be going back.
