Another Tze Char bento from here - this one came with white rice, wanton crisps, assam fish and vegetables of the day (cabbage). The mock fish was yummy as always, with a tangy sauce, pineapples pieces and okra. The cabbage was ok, not as fresh as I would have liked it. This restaurant has rejigged the dishes and the ordering system. You can now choose the Tze Char Bento items - I got the olive fried rice, leafy greens, vegan signature curry grand mix and crispy wanton crisps. Everything was so delicious, especially the vegan curry that never disappoints. These tze char bowls change from time to time and this time I got the spicy Thai basil chicken and tofu. This was really yummy, with a good amount of mock chicken, tofu and basil. My only suggestion is for the sauce to be slightly thicker so that the flavours stick on more to the ingredients in the sauce. These bowls usually come with an egg, but if you want it vegan, they usually replace it with yuba as pictured. #veganlunch #tofulover #mockchicken #yuba #yummyvegan

Tasted good and I like that it's a smaller portion than most out there so I can have it as a snack or a side dish with a meal. The price is also lower than most out there, at $3.80. So I think it's fair that the portion is smaller.

Spicy and fragrant Thai basil fried rice! 🍚 Not sure where the mince was ahaha (I was expecting Thai-style basil 'minced meat') but there were some finely diced carrot and bits of 'ham'.
