Great combination of flavors. Per the server, the egg was a just egg base combined with tofu and mungbean which ended up being very tasty.

I’m not a huge rice fan unless it’s in sushi, but then it’s much heavier than I sometimes want. This was a great idea, swapping the rice for carrots. I loved this one.

The risotto was full of flavor and topped with streamed asparagus, and though the mushroom on top was well done (maybe a king mushroom?) they’re not usually a texture I like, so that was my only thumbs down but that’s a personal thing. Also, raw minced peppers off to the side to mix in were an odd choice. It helped with the color presentation but otherwise wasn’t helpful for the flavor.

I was stoked to try this, as queso is one of my fave “junk” foods. Super disappointing! 👎🏼 As for the queso, it was an incredibly tiny portion for $13, and incredibly salty. The flavor beyond that was pretty decent, though. The queso to chips ratio was way off, as I got a container full of chips, but only enough queso for about 1/4 of them. The chips were overly fried (many were burnt) and offensively salty. Glad I didn’t pay for this, and work did, or I would’ve been bummed for wasting $52 after tax and delivery for my meal of this and the risotto. #glutenfree

I had high expectations for this dish, as it’s a Matthew Kenney restaurant (I’ve been wowed by some of his NYC spots), and pricey at $23, but was greatly disappointed. The flavor is lemony, which I absolutely love, but it was way too salty, and I truly feel that my lemon asparagus risotto is way better. The trumpet mushrooms were extremely rubbery and chewy. And the asparagus wasn’t trimmed properly, so the ends were extremely fibrous and chewy. The concept is great, but the execution was highly flawed. 😞 #glutenfree

The restaurant serves only plant-based food and you literally cannot tell! One of the most amazing waffles in the city! The price of the brunch is in line with similar restaurants around the city, but the quality is definitely superior!

Their take on shrimp and grits - you can’t see the grits but I promise it was there The mushroom was super tender and tasty but it definitely didn’t remind me of shrimp and grits
