I am a big fan of the matcha version, hence always hesitate to try other flavours. Glad that I did! I like it has a slight burnt taste and not too sweet. Donki warabimochi is the best!

Disclaimer: the green tea and soybean warabi mochis are sold separately. I have both of them in one box because I shared them with my friend. I like this more compared to the matcha one. It is tasty when served with hot green tea and the combination warms the heart🥰 the soybean powder has a milder taste and does not make your mouth feel very powdery as compared to the matcha one! Again, I still don’t think I will pay $3 for them though

Okay this wasn’t how the original one looked like:O it’s a mess here because I left it in my bag and the mochis were flying everywhere in the box. Anyways, these are super super soft and bouncy. They are easier to chew than regular mochis and are also best served cold 🤩 The green tea powder is very aromatic and has the really nice and slightly bitter matcha flavour. But I think $3 is quite pricy for 7 tiny mochis so I probably won’t get it again but it was a decent experience I guess 💸

This originally had 3 🍡 sticks before I took the photo. Black sesame has a bit of a smoked flavor; not bad. But texture is quite hard a bit hard to chew.

It's got a lot of matcha powder as a coating which is kind of dry but the inside is really nice and chewy. It's kind of cold which is really nice but the matcha is very overpowering. Thanks @meowmeowfuzzyface :)
