Omit egg to veganize. Reasonably priced at $5 for a brimming bowl of kway teow soup (#ricenoodles) accompanying braised everything from #tofu cubes, gluten #intestines to tofu puffs. Herby and leaning towards heavy in terms of flavour. Also not quite well served by #sambal looking spicier than it actually registers. All in all decent

Cute little family-run bistro tucked away in the East. The soup was a little bit on the oily side— absolutely delicious though! One major point of improvement is to add more protein. There were probably only a few measly pieces of beancurd inside. #veganisnotscary

Really flavourful and tasty dish but gravy was very oily - which might be a turn off for some people. Portion size is small if you’re a big eater! Nestled at a corner of East Village, this eatery is run by a Chinese lady boss who personally cooked the dishes when we visited.

Instead of adding milk, go for the original Teh O. It's vegan plus dairy still contributes to the climate change.

The rice is seasoned well, add chilli pickle for the spiciness. You would wanna eat more, however the price is moderate that you'll stick to that limit if 1 plate. Goes well with Kopi O or Teh O. Support local vegan/vegeterian restaurants and hawker as I'm finding them to shut down their business in this pandemic.

I ordered the Claypot Rice (on the left) and my non-vegan friend ordered the Hokkien Mee (on the right). Most dishes can be veganised by requesting no egg. The claypot rice was fragrant and tasty, but I found it too oily and sweet for my liking. (I eat very healthy though) Didn't try the Hokkien mee as there was egg in it. But will probably order it next time w/o the egg to try cos it smelled good! Overall a yummy meal at a very affordable price

Delicious but again.. might be a lil salty for peeps who don’t like too much salt. They used the slightly thicker kinda mee suah. Nice.. 😋 Sorry forgot to take pic till I’m almost done. 😬
