If this were Yelp, I’d give 5 stars because it’s a vegan restaurant. Since this isn’t Yelp, and I think this sounds like the place to keep it real, this place is just like all the other Supreme Master related restaurants (like Loving Hut). They are awesome for vegans (super awesome) but very little differentiates them from each other. Also, the menu has never changed since the place opened, so if you’re me and this is the only vegan restaurant nearby, you’ve tried everything and are now bored. Please do note though that nonvegans really seem to dig this place, so my low rating is probably the result of the fact that I’m a long-time vegan and now hard to impress. 😎
That said, me and all my vegan friends LOVE the mushu mushu. It’s really simple and doesn’t appear like it would be a big hit from glancing at it on the menu, but there’s some sort of sorcery that makes it really satisfying. Other big winners for me—kale salad, queens, and gourmet fried rice.
