#friedrice that leaned heavily on the #tomyum and unfortunately that's not quite the way I like it 🫤 I do like it when it lends that touch of #spicy without overpowering it and turning the whole thing sour, you know what I mean? 😬 I could taste the fresh #galangal and stuff though, so I'd wager that they actually make this fresh rather than rely on a paste, but I may be wrong. Decent amount of chopped vegetables mixed in, but nothing spectacular.

God alone knows what makes this #beehoon #golden 🤨 I just thought the portion size was too small (definitely left me #stillhungry ☹️) and the #vermicelli in particular couldn't support the quantity of #tofu cubes and vegetables provided 🥲 Lightly #spicy and overall quite tasty, it costs RM10.90 and you need to request that it be prepared without egg

Nope. No wok hei, no naughty ingredients (all #toohealthy stuff like chopped vegetables), and an overly moist texture. It's #friedrice, *fried*, for goodness sake 😒 RM11, specify through the order form that you don't want egg 😉

Not going to be a contender for the most exciting lunch you'll have all week, but the portion size is generous (which I had known) and the food does enough to keep you going. There's a brown rice option but they had run out, so #whiterice it was 😐 Just note that it's #roastpork and #tofu, not some sort of clever mashup of the two 😏 The latter was fine, but I don't know why I was expecting the greasy, crispy, sinful version of the former. Instead I got something more like a healthy version of 三层肉, which even in former days never really threatened my favourites list 😅

Not great of me to blame them for this, I've just never really been the biggest fan of this type of #cantonese #soup #noodles 😬 Still, the #crispy #beehoon was fun to crunch through 😅 And I appreciated the generous serving of #beancurdskin 😁 Appreciate how they kept the noodles crispy/fresh by packing things separately, but I still think they could've been more efficient with their use of plastic than the #deathbyplastic that they came up with (2nd picture) 😐

#sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease 😊🤤 These #deepfried #springrolls arrived a little bit soggy, but hey beggars can't be choosers 😐 The best part about these wrapped up bundles of joy is that you don't really have to pay much attention to what exactly is in them 😁

I had to polish this off very quickly in between work meetings so may be giving it an unduly positive rating. I mean, anyone would need comfort food after spending two hours discussing meaningless things like revenue multiples and IP defensibility with MBA grads who've never read a line of code in their lives 😵 The #gongbao wasn't too spicy so I had to supplement 😅 The #fakemeat #chicken absorbed the sauce well and offered a nice but modest amount of chewiness. On the whole, for a savoury lunch, my #sweettooth was actually impressed 🙂

#lemontea product that I added to my order to take it above a certain threshold at which I unlocked a GrabFood discount. So I'm gonna say it's bad value for RM6 but then I paid in effect far less for it 😉 No honey and no added sweetener, which explains why it tasted #toohealthy. The real crime, though, was using a sealed film wrap while providing a flat plastic straw incapable of producing the required perforation. It's #deathbyplastic and yet so #badux. Just, whyyyy 😩 I clawed it open with a combination of fork and finger 😒

That #curry is delicious, creamy and #spicy 😋🔥 There are big chunks of #mutton that are cooked to the right bitey texture, and the addition of curry leaves and boiled potatoes was good. For RM12.90 you also get a serving of #whiterice and a few slivers of #cucumber. It's not an exorbitant price but the serving is a bit small and you might be left #stillhungry 🥺 I ordered this on GrabFood and it was delivered in a plastic receptacle 😐

#friedrice was okay but could have done with more flavour/wok hei overall (and more ingredients 🙄) - I brought this home and laid on the chilli to compensate 😏 The #pineapple tasted like they had overfried it beyond the limits of taste retention 😬 The single-use plastic container was annoying but a step up from their previous habit of additionally wrapping the container in a separate sheet of plastic 😳 RM11 is decent value, available on GrabFood. And #veganisnotscary no matter how many times you ask about my protein 😛
