I nearly cried happy tears (no exaggeration) when I found this product. I could finally experience some of my favourite meals and dishes again. These yo eggs with their black salt added on, taste exactly like (slight texture difference but these eggs are RUNNY! You have to be careful when you dip your toast because it can shoot out like crazy unless you’re careful then it’s a slow run), the eggs I used to eat before going vegan. I love myself a good old fashioned breaky (veganized of course), or an egg and cheese sandwich. But honestly, possibilities are endless with these! I’m SO happy and thankful that they exist and they have a customer for life!

After having a blissful experience when trying the Yo Egg poached egg, I knew that it was just a matter of time before I would try their sunny side up. I finally did tonight, and it totally met my high expectation. I prepared it as a topping for my fried kimchi rice. It was so easy to prepare. It was super easy to slide off my frying pan. The white part is a little thicker and denser than real egg, but it’s barely noticeable when eating it with something else, as I did with this rice. The yolk is bigger than standard. I remember when I used to cook real eggs, it was a challenge to get it just right, where there would be no runny white, which I didn’t like, while not over cooking the yolk. The white part of this is already set solid, so there’s not even a need to flip it over. I just heated it on medium heat for about five minutes, like the instructions says. The yolk is a little delicate, but not as much as real egg, making it easier to work with. The liquid didn’t spill over until I broke it open with a fork. Mainly made with soy and chickpea protein. Nutrient wise, this is not bad at all for a processed food, not that high in sodium nor fat, while being a great source of #iron, as well as protein, potassium, and fiber. #eggfree #nodairy #veganegg #sunnysideup
