Love this. My only small grumble is the texture is a tiny bit rubbery do I added tofu to thin it out a bit and I was as near perfect as any vegan egg substitute could be. Will definitely buy it again.

So, I was a bit daft with this one! After following the instructions, I realised it turned out to have a custard consistency and wouldn’t cook any further - I was hoping for a ‘scrambled egg’ in the end. How wrong I was! Anyway, I had to attentively read the front part that said it was a mere complement and not as I thought. Fortunately, I had some tofu that I’d bought from Checkers a while ago, yes, a while ago😂, then I mixed this ‘egg’ complement with the tofu, and oh! It was like real egg, and I’m talking about aromas and everything. Indeed, I would consider adding this product to pasta dishes as well, probably baked goods too, if I can get myself to bake something. Great stuff! Hope you get to try it too!
Excellent product! Super easy to prepare. Like that it asks for water and not plant milk and the consistency is very yolky. A winner!
I had been looking for an egg alternative for a long time before coming across this product. It’s nice. It’s not my absolute favourite alternative for egg, but it’s definitely nice and the ingredients are organic and healthy. A lot of alternatives can be processed so this is lovely. The texture really depends on how you cook it. I have a feeling I haven’t been cooking it properly, but I think if you can get the texture right and cook it until it’s properly thick, it’s great! I use it on sandwiches. Definitely worth a try and it lasts for a good long while.
This product, once mixed with your water and oil, is the most legitimate version of a vegan egg yolk that I have seen. I am testing with different ways of using it but I am not the most creative person in the kitchen so mostly just using it with tofu scramble. Use a firmer tofu if you can though as this is a liquid so adding it to the soft tofu makes it a bit too runny for my liking :) #greyton #ashers #pigsnpaws
