Vegan Fish Sauce

This is a really nice “fish” sauce substitute! It helped me #veganize a Filipino Pansit dish I made for meal prep! I used to have a roommate that taught me how to make this before transitioning to a 🌱 #plantbased lifestyle and I’m happy that I was able too make a vegan version of it! Like the No Soy Sauce from this brand the Kelp makes this have a slight “fishy” flavor! This definitely would be good in a soup 🍲 or stew as suggested by @beckyyy! Sodium 🧂 content a lot less than many other Asian sauces which I like. Even contains small amounts of #vitamind #calcium and #iodine. I had a buy one get one free coupon for the Ocean's Halo Sauces and purchased this and the No Soy for $4.99 from my local Whole Foods Market! Not bad for 2 sauces! Hate it when we don’t have the ingredients for a recipe. I’m sure fish sauce could be subbed with just tamari, but if you can find a vegan option, why wouldn’t you?

This makes a great addition to any meal you want to taste fishy.

the flavor of this product is perfect in soups, added to seitan dishes and added to a rice and veggie dish yum!
