This Trader Joe’s frozen Panang curry meal has a rich complex spice structure and captures

the flavors of Thai food. It’s a frozen meal so the vegetables come out a bit chewy. The jasmine rice is really tasty. I’d recommend this for a quick meal when you’re tired of cooking. The portion size is small.

I love a bowl of Panang curry, it is my comfort food. Having said that,

most restaurant Panang curries contain shrimp or fish sauce, hence my delight at finding this quick and tasty TJ dinner. (Which is ready in six minutes flat and hits the spot). Please note: one of my pics has fried tofu in it, which I added to the dish. #mercyforanimals

This tasted really great! Very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. I would

take the cooking directions with a grain of salt though, especially if you’re using the microwave. For me, it took a few more minutes in the microwave to fully defrost and cook the meal. #veganisnotscary 22/90


The curry sauce is great, and the vegetables are great! I would buy it more

regularly if there were less throw-away packaging, but I keep a couple frozen meals like this in the freezer in case I need a good quick meal.
