Teriyaki Impossible Chicken Bowl

This has been sitting in my work freezer for awhile, waiting for a day that I either forget to bring my lunch, or just don’t feel like preparing one the night before. That day came and I appreciated having this available. I wasn’t crazy about the taste, but it was decent. I have to admit though, pineapples don’t belong in savory dishes for me, and this was no exception. The chicken and veggies were good, but the tartness of the pineapple did not pair well. I won’t be getting this again, but will grab another bowl to replenish my back up lunch. Of course the plastic bowl not so environmentally friendly, but they have a home with me. Is impossible even still allowed here considering the actions they took to make their replicate iron ingredient? I just learned about this recently, and this pic is from before I found out... But I really believe impossible foods needs to make a public pledge to be vegan. If there's no other options to choose from, it's still nice, but I'd rather support beyond meat or gardien instead if they're going to continue to harm animals unnecessarily.

My husband surprised me with a few of these new Impossible bowls. This one was by far my favorite! It tastes just like the Marie Callender meals I ate when I was younger. Very flavorful and tasty! The calories are a bit high for the amount, but it is a ready-made meal so that is usually expected. A bit pricey, but still cheaper than some other vegan microwave meals.

I wanted to like these and thought i would , but they have a ton of sugar for me. I didn't expect chicken teriyaki to be that sweet either. Luckily i didnt finish it or i could have gotten sick from it. If sugar is no issue for you though or like sweet teriyaki, then you might/will probably like it.
