Plantbased Chilli Hotdogs

I was so excited to see these in Asda, then I read "made with butternut squash and mushrooms" and I thought "meh. That's not a hot dog!" I'm glad I tried them though, because they're huge, tasty and pretty low calorie (under 100 each!). I'd like them spicier but you can always add stuff 😋🌭

Really nice creation from asda, and they cook really nicely in a pan. I had them with potatoes on hot dog buns and they worked really well, although I struggled to find any real taste in the sausages. Couldn't really tell they were meant to be chilli/jalapeño, but maybe that's just my taste. They were, however, made very thick and solid, tightly packed with 'meat'. Taste wasn't as exciting as promised, but not bad at all!

Tasted pretty decent- butternut squash, mushroom, jalepeno- no soya so it didn't taste exactly meaty. Mushroomy rather! I liked them though so would get it again 😊 #veganisnotscary
