This surprisingly really tastes like pork, and one pack can make quite a big portion.

This was on sale for over half price so it was a bargain. I cooked it up as "pork" in a Sichuan eggplant recipe and it worked really well. I only used half the pack, will try and make dumplings with the other half
We love all deliciou products, but this is one of the best - super easy to make and perfect for sliders, meatballs or poke.
You know what? Not too shabby. The mince, once you add water & some oil to it, really smells like pork 🐷 Luckily that smell doesn’t persist if cooked enough because I really am not a fan of pork 🤓 The texture varies quite significantly depending on how you prepare it. Here, I added a little extra water because just making a basic mince it felt too dry but I think that was a mistake because it came out a tad too mushy. If you overcook it on the other hand, it starts to smell and resemble a pancake 🥞 It is just glorified wheat after all 🤷♀️ On the other hand, cooking it as is as mince, I didn’t want to use too much oil cause you already need a tablespoon when preparing the dry stuff. The second picture is what it looks like once hydrated but not yet cooked per packet instructions. I’d probably need another take at this to try other recipes but as a basic mince to add to dishes, it’s pretty plain. #fakemeat #pridemonth #tiledreview
Versatile option and easy to prepare. #9000forBlackGoat
