Plant Based Mexican Seasoned Ground

First time trying this product I found it to be not very “seasoned” and probably won’t buy it again. From a convenience standpoint I see why this works but for me I needed more Mexican seasoning and taste from my meat. This was bland and dry tasting.

Pre-seasoned ground "meat" was just what taco night needed to put it over the top. I really enjoyed cooking and eating this stuff, and I hope I can find it in more local shops (got it out of town). One small issue is that it sort of clumps up rather than breaks apart when cooked for a while.

This product is delicious in flavor and not spicy! Better than Chipotle sofritas in my opinion. The protein is a combo of pea and rice proteins, fermented by shiitake mushrooms. Yum!

Perfect for taco nights! Same consistency and texture and comes pre flavored makes cooking easy!

I used this in a Butternut Squash Chili recipe. So savory. Even my 5 yr old niece who normally doesn’t like veggies liked this a lot.
