Plant Based Beef Burrito Bowl

Love #tattooedchef for their delicious array of #lazyvegan options, and this one was another winner. The flavor was great and, even for a frozen meal, the ingredients felt and tasted fresh instead of turning into just a mushy glob (but will admit it looks far from the picture on the box) of unrecognizable flavors. I was maybe hoping for a bit more heat with the spice of the jalapeño crema ( #welikeitspicy ), but it still was a very enjoyable touch to the dish. Sheeeeesh, I did not expect to love this bowl so much! I have only had one of the Tattooed Chef products before and it blew me out of the water and this was no exception. Next time I'm going to add some Tofurky slow roasted chick'n to beef it up (ha HA) and get more protein but as a standalone microwave meal, this is a winner. I dipped some chips in it as well and added some hot sauce!

I thought this dish was fairly good. I like that it only had 310 calories with 14 grams of fat. So much much than the cheese enchiladas I tried yesterday. I guess a drawback of ready meals is that everything has to be mixed together. It ends up tasting like rice, beans, and corn in a creamy sauce. Thankfully, not too spicy.
