Original Fig Bar

i’m not someone who’s ever gonna just choose to sit down and eat a fig bar, i’d much rather have a bar of chocolate or something, but these Nature’s Bakery Original Fig Bars are nice to keep in the car or in a purse for on the go. they’re soft, chewy, and taste like a fig newton so if you’re into that, you’ll like these! 🍇

US Review; This was one of the few edible items on our Tampa to London flight 😆 I saved them because we ended up with something like six or eight bars over the flight. These are good little fig bars. A nice light snack that still feels filling. The fig flavor is palatable even if you aren’t a huge fig fan. Yummy with a coffee. these fig bars are one of my favorite grab-and-go snacks! the package comes with two bars inside, both of which are pretty thick, and they taste very similar to fig newtons (which i grew up with!). i really like the fig jam center, and despite all the other flavors i think the original has a place in my heart that none of the others can reach! there’s a lot of nostalgia here, so i’m my rating might be a bit biased as i was a fan before trying them 😅, but the flavor definitely backs up my claim.

These are some of my FAVORITE snacks to keep on hand. I buy these at Target for around $4, but sometimes they have them in bulk at Costco, usually the blueberry flavor for only $9.99. These are just the plain Jane original, but delicious Fig Bar. When I was younger, my dad was very health conscious, and one of the "sweets" I would have were Fig Newton bars. Lol. These are basically a cross between Fig Newtons and Nutrigrain bars (another childhood favorite), but these have a slightly better nutritional profile. These are really handy to keep in your purse or bag. I bring them to work and to the sanctuary. They're easy to eat when you need a boost of energy. They have a nice fig taste and have the right amount of sweetness. These do have a bit of sugar, but they have real #fruit and have no high fructose corn syrup.
