This bread is delicious 🤤, it is not cheap, but definitely worth the indulgence once in a while. I buy the half loaf , which comes with about 10 slices. I made mushroom toast with it INGREDIENTS: 1 tbsp vegan butter 1 tbsp minced garlic 2 cups sliced shitake mushrooms 1 tsp salt 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes 1 cup lacinto kale, chopped 2 tbsp sesame seeds 2 slices sourdough bread 2 tbsp hummus fresh parsley tahini METHOD: Heat a medium sized pan over medium-high heat. Add the butter and let it melt. Add the garlic and saute for about 45 seconds. Add the mushrooms, salt & pepper flake and cook for about 3 -5 minutes until they start to turn brown Add the kale and sesame seeds and cook until the kale is wilted. Push the mushrooms mix to one side and "toast" the bread in the same pan. Remove the bread from the pan and top with the mushroom mixture.
