Honeycomb Caramel Chocolate Truffles

I got this as a free gift from Abel & Cole. Every so often you can choose from a small selection of delicious things to be included in your order and amazingly this is one of them. I really really like these truffles. They are dusted with cocoa/cacao and are smooth inside with very small bits of crunchy honeycomb. They are vegan, organic and gluten free, which for a more mainstream chocolate choice is excellent. #nonestle #ethicalchocolate #glutenfreeuk

I am a fan of Booja Booja. You already know the chocolates are vegan so it’s just a case of running wild trying the different recipes 🌟 Hadn’t tried these honeycomb caramels…very pleased to have discovered them. The honeycomb is scattered through the dense, thick dark chocolate and explodes on the palate. One truffle is enough as they are so rich. There are 8 in the box. Each one is dusted in cocoa powder. They come in a recyclable plastic tray with a sleeve that pulls back to reveal the first four, but keeps the other four fresh and sealed until you’re ready to peal back and indulge. 😋 At £5+ they are pricey but one of those occasional treats that’s worth laying out for as the quality is so consistent. #ditchdairy #veganchocolate #honeycomb #goveganfortheanimals #fundacionsantuariovegan 🧡

These are not cheap, but as a delightful treat for the #sweettooth every once in a while they do the trick ☺️ Neither the #honeycomb nor the #caramel is particularly pronounced in flavour. The thing which I liked the most was how the filling would remain cold even after the outside had warmed up, so it would behave almost like a fudgey ice-cream 😋 Chocolate dusting does make a mess of fingers, but worth the pain 😛

Honeycomb choc used to be one of my favs. Finally get to taste them again. But it’s too sweet for me.. lol. Still very enjoyable. Crunchy. Bitter on the outside sweet on the inside. 😋🤍
