Gluten-free Vegan Worcestershire Sauce

am not a huge fan of Worcestershire Sauce as it is, but some recipes just need that salty umami-ness so this The Wizard’s Vegan kind does the trick great! a little illusive and hard to find though so when i spotted, i had to get to have on hand. 🍲

Watch Shrek and this is how most of us would prunounce it haha! 'Woor cester sher sher shire' lol Britain has a city called Worcester where Worcestershire Sauce was invented by 2 men who were pharmacists in the 19th century. Repeat after me 'Wuuster- sher' simple as that, how the many miles can change a sound! Ok so back to the review, tastes pretty close to how i remember, always was good for the big morning breakfasts- full monty!

I'm noticing that more Worcestershire sauces are being made without anchovies, which is great! Even so, it's nice to have a product that specifically calls out that it's vegan. This is a high quality sauce and tastes as it should. It's a staple ingredient in the phenomenal version of chik'n katsu (Hawaiian bbq style) that @acastillon has absolutely perfected. This is definitely in my top 3 meals of all time! The fried chik'n cutlet is served with the savory yet sweet katsu sauce, and of course rice and macaroni salad to complete the meal. 😍😍😍 #katsu
