Ginger & Chilli Infused Tofu

Very strong ginger flavour. The tofu isn’t really “infused”, there is just a lot of paste/sauce coating it, but that makes this great for stir frys as there is plenty to cover veggies or rice.

Sadly a lot of the "infusion" stayed in the plastic packaging.

Wouldn’t normally buy this as I normally get plain tofu that I can flavour or season however, but couldn’t resist since it was reduced. The marinade is tasty but the flavour doesn’t really permeate the tofu, so it’s only the outside bits that get the flavour. Nice enough though, I pan fried the whole block then cubed it and added to a noodle salad.

Tasty marinated tofu, very noticeable ginger in the marinate. Like any other pre marinated tofu the value isn't great, it's cheaper to marinate yourself.
