Fruit Syrup

Very sweet syrup from a great ethical vegan company (I believe). Sometimes hard to find but I think it’s in the syrup isles or sometimes in the free from. Lasts ages and can have it instead of sugar.

I might have bought it but accident thinking it was maple syrup, but as you can see I did quite like this fruit syrup!

Sweet freedom, because my #sweettooth won't be repressed by anything or anyone 😏 I had been expecting something different, say more like a fruit compote than what could have passed for a #veganhoney substitute 🤔 There's no small amount of sugar in this #syrup (nearly 2/3s by mass), but it's naturally occurring and down to the #fruit content. Which is at odds with some of their hyper low-sugar offerings, but anyway. Label design is cute, plastic bottle has thoughtful mechanics but isn't sturdy enough for significant reuse 😐 Price point is a bit on the high side.

This one is the least favourite out of the range but does make a good low calorie substitute in baking and desserts. It's nice just not as delicious as the chocolate versions.

Great replacement for syrup, completely natural and a lovely fruity taste - love it in my porridge in the mornings. More expensive than honey but cheaper than maple syrup. #veganuary
