#glutenfree #keto #nongmocertified #plantbasednoodles #grainfree #soyfree #dairyfree #konjac I picked up several packs of Miracle Noodles at the Planted Expo Show earlier this year. in Toronto. I don’t remember what I had sampled to convince me to buy these. Unfortunately my cooking of this fettuccine did not meet my expectations. I found the noodles to be tough and rubbery, and the sauce didn’t stick well to the noodles. This experience is similar to what I had experienced when I cooked another type of noodle from Miracle Noodles (I don’t remember what the other type of noodle was). Last time, I thought I had undercooked the noodles. This time, I put them in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, then cooked them in the sauce for about another 5 minutes. I got the same tough rubbery texture. At Planted Expo, I paid either $4 or $5 per package. This certainly wasn’t cheap. I would not buy these again because of the price (lack of value) and the unsatisfying taste. From an environmental perspective, I hope the company finds a way of using less plastic packaging. On a positive note, these noodles are extremely low in calories, sodium and they’re fat-free. The whole package provides 14% of your day’s recommended fibre and 11% of your day’s recommended iron.
