Falafel

These are an absolute staple in our house! So quick, easy and delicious. We have them in pitas or recently tried them with turmeric rice in the bowl format shown in the second pic. Definitely recommend this as an easy protein filled lunch or dinner! #falafel #whatveganseat

Un peu secs et trop épicés au goût des enfants mais tellement faciles à faire !!!! On ajoute de l’eau et c’est tout !!! La prochaine fois pour les attendrir je rajouterai un peu d’huile au lieu de l’eau. Ou peut-être du mylk?

11/10!!! Instant falafel mix doesn't sound great, but Casbah really makes it work!! All you have to do is add water, and bam! delicious falafels that taste like they could have been made from scratch. The thickness of the mix makes it easy to form into balls, and they fry quickly and easily all the way through. The combination of spices makes them rich and flavourful, and they're high in protein, fibre, and iron. One box is supposed to make around 24 falafels, but I've found it to be more like 16-20. They are vegan (but unfortunately not gluten-free).
