Creamy Original Chao Slices

i am so in love with how melty this cheese is! while other brands have been catching up on the melting game, i do think chao has had consistently melty cheese since the start. i was super excited to try this when it went on sale because i have heard great things, and i wasn’t disappointed! i will say, while this cheese is super melty and does taste great melted on a sandwich, i tried this one plain and was not really a fan. i do prefer daiya’s new formula plain over this cheese plain (unmelted). that being said, definitely a good purchase and i’ll probably be trying more flavors from this brand because it melts beautifully and is delicious melted. #vegancheese #cheese #cheeseslices #chao #fieldroast #fieldroastchao

A really good sliced cheese that’s made from tofu. It’s a bit thicker and creamier than a mozzarella or cheddar and I like it a lot 👍🏽

well, it definitely melts well! I did a mushroom cheeseburger taste test with chao. it goes great with mushrooms. i also had it frozen for over a month and it was still very good. the taste blended well with all the burgeriness & mushrooms. #ditchdairy #veganburger

This cheese has a great flavor and it melts well. I frequently melts this over leftover plain pasta to make a quick mac & cheese.
