These vegan crab cakes are really delicious, and it is one of my favorite vegan products! The taste and texture is very similar to crab and it can be used in a lot of different recipes. I like to eat them alone or in vegan sushi rolls. They are easy to mash into a vegan crab mix and it tastes amazing! My non-vegan family loves these as well. These weren’t great. They were overly salty and mushy in the inside.
One of the things I miss the most from omnivorism is #crab 🥺 I'd been so looking forward to these #crabcakes and I'm sad to share that they were slightly underwhelming 😟 Maybe I should have heeded the recommendation that they be pan-fried in some oil, such that the moisture would seep into the middle and make it less dry/stringy 😐 The flavour and outer texture aren't bad, but this ain't no #seafood. Would've been nicer with a vegan tartar sauce too! 😏
