Chocolate Cupcakes

These are incredibly rich and chocolate-y, and feel very indulgent. They are small to medium sized cupcakes which is perfect because any bigger and they’d be really sickly. My husband complained that the ratio of frosting to cake is too high, I’d say about 50/50, and I have to agree. I’d like a little less frosting on these, the amount at the moment is a bit excessive. £1.99 for two is maybe a little dear however they are priced the same as Morrisons non-vegan chocolate cupcakes so you can’t really complain. I swear down if you gave these to a non vegan without telling them it was vegan they would think it was a dairy cupcake! This was insanely good, moist and rich. The icing to cake ratio was 50/50 which is slightly too sweet for me but since they are quite small it's not tooth achingly sweet. Blown away by these really as chocolate cupcakes aren't my go to choice but this may have changed my mind
