Yet another fabulous product from Angie’s Tempeh- this time made with the creamy and nutty chickpea! Forgot to take a pic of the packaging before I opened it to cook. Cooked this with a little bit of oil, then stirred in a mixture of rice vinegar, ketchup, plum sauce, and soy sauce. Satisfying!
Needs some heavy seasoning/marinating, and I think my favourite ones in their range is soybean and buckwheat tempeh. Wasn't a fan of chickpea tempeh, due to a powdery texture after frying. #veganisnotscary
I didn’t know what to expect as I’ve not tasted chickpea tempeh before this. I am impressed and hooked. The tempeh was firm and even textured. It didn’t crumble after being fried. Tasty yummy without any seasoning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #veganuary
