Vegan rice with romescu sauce

If you're getting confused by seeing this dish, you're not the only one. I didn't really understand why rice was served with French fries... After having some vegan noodles and being still hungry, I asked the waiter if I could have something else to eat. That's what I got. The rice was nice but a little bit too oily, and I would have preferred for it to be served with vegetables. The romescu sauce was very good though. It was made with almonds, garlic and tomato sauce.
