
Finally, a vegan cake option in Starbucks' Malaysian range! This was delicious, very creamy and soft texture.
Whoever you are who's been pestering Starbucks Malaysia for more vegan-friendly options, thank you 😚 The message is getting through to them that one seasonal impossible meat offering a year is not acceptable, and perhaps some experimental flavours should be added also to the #dessert range to see if it may stick 😏 I don't even ask for much, not even price parity (I happily pay the RM2 or 3 for plant milk and I didn't complain about this costing RM18.50 which is a good RM4 beyond the dairy #cake options), just give me something? 🥺 Unfortunately for me, I couldn't "rejoice". Because, like anything that isn't curry or spiced rice, this was #ruinedbycoconut 😥 I very much liked the #mocha, being the #chocoholic #coffeelover that I am, and I also liked the texture of the sponge and cream layers, but I really really cannot do that evil fibrous stuff with a silly unsweet body that lingers into the aftertaste 😖 Also, #deathbyplastic 😬
