Was excited to find a vegan apple pie. Unfortunately it was not a nice one. The apple filling was rather oddly cooked, still crunchy with apple skin. I don't mind eating apple skins but not in a pie. Only good thing about it was that it's not too sweet.

The apple is robust and tart, with a generous heaping of crumble to add crunch, texture and a touch of sweetness, and a liberal sprinkling of cinnamon for that lovely spicy flavour that complements apple so well. The cake has a more rustic and artisanal look and taste than those from other pastry outlets. If doing takeout, it would be perfect warmed up and served with ice-cream on the side! Affordable at $5 per slice.
