Tomato Bisque Soup

I got this to go with my Grilled Cheese sandwich, one of my favorite combo's, but this tasted more like marinara sauce to me then soup. I guess I was comparing it with homemade soup, and was expecting some exciting flavors and spices. So I just had a few bites and decided to take the rest home and have it with calzone, since I had leftover dough and fixings in the freezer. It paired very well, but I would not get this again. Between this and a starter my friend got, I was a little disappointed. I was expecting more, with the creative ambiance, but I was pleased with my sandwich and my friend enjoyed her vegan Artichoke Crab Cakes. I feel it's a little pricey for what we got, but I'm grateful they have a vegan menu with quite a selection and that they stay open late on some days. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating as well. She came around often to check how we were doing and ensured our glasses of water were filled. We also noticed some other customers with very enticing cocktails. I'm looking forward to trying out this place again someday. #aloha
