The Great Imitator (Pitta)

I've finally made a trip home to the UK to see my friends and family 🇬🇧 which means, first stop: Nando's! I've always enjoyed the salty and spicy Piri-piri dishes here, as they've offered vegetarian and vegan options for years. However, their new 'The Great Imitator' protein is the first vegan offering that is supposed to look and taste like the classic Piri-piri chicken. And I think they did a good job (although I don't remember what chicken tastes like ...)! I chose to have this in a pitta which was a bit stingy on the filling. I put my side of broccoli inside it to make it bulkier. I did also splash it with all the Piri-piri I could find which made it better 🔥🤘. Overall, the meal didn't blow me away but it was just what I wanted from a trip to Nando's.
